Caring
for Mental Health provides weekly group
meetings, educational workshops and courses,
1-1 support, group and individual breaks
away. The groups help people to talk to
others in a similar position to themselves.
The 1-1 service provides a non
judgmental confidential ear enabling the
carer to off load and express safely any
issues, concerns or worries. The breaks are
respite breaks away from the cared from
person. The service puts the emphasis on
the carer, this is often an unfamiliar place
to be.

To achieve these aims the Caring for Mental
Health provides:

Being a carer can often
be a lonely existence. Caring for Mental
Health
strives to help carers maintain a good well
being. Groups, breaks, 1-1 support go
towards reducing the isolation and helps
towards feeling valued and heard.
